Cleveland State's undisputed on-field leader, Sarah Milosek will once again hold down the starting spot at first base. Known primarily for her outstanding defensive work, she emerged last year as an offensive threat in the middle of Cleveland State's line-up. As one of just two seniors on the team, that offensive pop will be counted on once again this season.

2006 - Junior Season

Had a breakout season, finishing third on the team and 11th in the Horizon League with a .321 average...also ranked 10th in the league with a .405 on-base pct...tied for third on the team with 21 RBI...started 46 games at first base, committing just four errors in 376 chances (.989 fielding pct.)...27th in the nation in hit by pitch per game (0.2)...put together a career-best five-game hitting streak from April 1-8...had seven multi-hit games...doubled and drove in a pair at Wright State (4/30)...went 5-for-6 with eight RBI in twin bill at Robert Morris (3/28)...was 3-for-3 with a double, two home runs and six RBI in second game against Colonials.

2005 - Sophomore Season

Started 31 games, all but one coming at first base...hit .176 with three runs scored and a pair of RBI...posted a nearly flawless .991 fielding percentage, making just two errors in 291 chances...had three multi-hit games...picked up two hits and a run at Niagara (4/7)...went 2-for-3 with an RBI against Southeast Missouri State (3/13).

2004 - Freshman Season

Appeared in 13 games, with 11 starts (five at first base, six at second)...picked up one hit in nine at-bats (.111).

High School

Earned first team all-state, all-district and all-region honors in 2003...also named to all-county and all-league teams in 2001, `02 & `03...team MVP as a senior...batted .360 her senior season with 45 hits, 39 runs and 36 RBI en route to earning second team NFCA All-America honors...lettered three years...team won state championship in 2003, going 43-1...also lettered two seasons in volleyball...team MVP and captain her senior year.

Born June 29, 1985...daughter of Greg and Diane Milosek...has two sisters, Jessica and Lauren, and a brother, Matthew...sister Jessica played softball at Bowling Green...CSU Athletic Academic Excellence Award winner...biology major.
