A fifth-year senior, former Viking standout Jackie Miller is serving as a student assistant coach this season with the Vikings.
Miller wrapped up an outstanding four-year career with the Vikings in 2002. She currently ranks among CSU's all-time leaders in five categories - RBIs (3rd), home runs (3rd), doubles (4th), hits (9th) and batting average (9th).
Miller capped off her senior season by being named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District IV first-team as well as second-team all-Horizon League.
A first and third baseman, Miller also earned all-league honors in 2001.
An excellent student, the biology major earned CSU's Athletic Academic Excellence Award four times and was named to the league's honor roll three times.
In addition, Miller served as the president of CSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Board from 2000-02.
