Haley Keller has been a fixture behind the plate during the last two seasons, a trend that should continue again this spring though her versatility may present playing options at several other positions as well. A power hitter who is capable of driving in runs in bunches, her defensive ability behind the plate has played a big role in the Vikings' success the last couple of years.

2008 - JUNIOR SEASON

Starter in 34 of 36 games she played...hit .231 with 24 hits, four doubles, two triples, four homeruns and 20 RBI...solid day at the plate vs. Robert Morris (4/3) including a grand slam (1-for-3, 4 RBI) in game one and the game-winning single (2-for-5, RBI) in game two...went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI vs. Detroit (4/10)...opened season with a five-game hit streak from 2/15 to 3/1.

2007 - SOPHOMORE SEASON

Started 47 games at catcher...hit .300 with 39 hits, 14 RBI and 18 runs...recorded 10 multi-hit games...put together four multi-RBI games...hit 2-for-3 against Green Bay, scoring two runs and driving in three (4/1)...threw out 17 of 53 runners attempting to steal.

2006 - FRESHMAN SEASON

Appeared in five games, starting twice behind the plate...went 1-for-1 with an RBI and a run scored at Robert Morris (3/28).

HIGH SCHOOL

Second team All-Ohio selection as a senior...all-league and all-district honoree...named school's Senior Athlete of the Year...Northwest Ohio All-Star...USSSA World Series MVP in 2004...also lettered in volleyball, basketball and track.

PERSONAL

Born March 10, 1987...daughter of Dan and Jackie Keller...has two brothers, Scott and Brian, and a sister, Heidi...CSU Athletic Academic Excellence Award winner...nursing major.
