Kaitlin Guyette adds the invaluable experience of having started 132 games over the past three seasons to her spot at second base. A much-improved hitter, she will anchor an infield that features two freshmen starting on the left side.
2005 - Junior Season
Ripped a team-best 10 doubles, while ranking fourth with a .278 batting average...started 45 games at second base...had five multi-hit contests and put together and eight-game hitting streak from April 11-19...went 2-for-3 in league championship game against Detroit (5/13)...went 3-for-3 with a pair of runs against Ohio (4/13)...was 3-for-3 with a pair of double versus Robert Morris (3/28).
2004 - Sophomore Season
Started in all 51 games she played, 46 coming at second base...hit .165 with a homer and 9 RBI...recorded a .944 fielding percentage...had five multi-hit games...knocked in two runs at Wright State (4/10)...was 2-for-4 with a double and three-RBI against St. Francis (4/21).
2003 - Freshman Season
Started 36 of her 41 games...batted .141 with 10 hits and five RBI...scored a run and drove in one against Kent State on April 15.
