LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Cleveland State softball team fell to North Dakota State, 8-0, in their final game of the Louisville Black and Red Classic on Sunday morning.

CSU fell to 4-9 this year.

NDSU took a 1-0 lead with a run in the first and broke the game open with six runs in the fourth inning.

Riley Ries had two of CSU's five hits, while Erica McNew, Susan Knight and Darien Ward had one hit each.

Kristin Catalano worked the final four innings for the Vikings, giving up just one run on four hits.

The Vikings return to action for four games at the Oklahoma State Mizuno Classic from March 11-13.
