CLEVELAND, Ohio - Former Cleveland State softball standout Cynthia Woodard was recently named the MVP of the 2015 Softball Australia Friendship Series.
In addition, Kait Gairing was named to the all-tournament team.
Members of the CSU squad posted a 5-3-1 mark during their nine game foreign trip to Australia, earning 11 points to finish fourth of 10 teams in the standings.
The Vikings outscored their opponents, 51-18, during the competition.
