CSU was strong both at the plate and in the circle all weekend, posting a .361 team batting average and a 1.11 earned run average by the pitchers.

Senior third baseman Nena Doran hit .667 (8-12) with four runs, one double, two home runs and four RBI in the three games, earning Horizon League Player of the Week honors. She concluded the tournament with a 4-for-5 performance in the win over Canisius, missing the cycle by a triple.

Alisha Silva drove in three runs over the weekend.

In the circle, senior Alex Radjen fired two complete games, giving up seven runs (three earned) over her 14 innings of work. She scattered 15 hits, while striking out 18 and walking just two.

Freshman Mackenzie Joecken was strong in her first collegiate outing, firing a complete game (5 inning) shutout against Niagara. She gave up just three hits and fanned six.
