CLEVELAND, Ohio - For the second straight week, Cleveland State junior Alex Radjen has been selected as the Horizon League Pitcher of the Week. The league office made the announcement on Monday afternoon.

It is the fourth time out of nine weeks that a CSU pitcher has earned the award this year.

Radjen helped the Vikings to a 5-1 week, posting a 3-0 record with an 0.82 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 17 innings of work. Radjen threw two complete games, while also working three innings of relief in a 10 inning win.

She fanned a career-high 12 in a game two victory over St. Francis on Thursday afternoon.

The Vikings (17-11, 1-1 HL) return to league action this weekend with a three-game series at Valparaiso. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with a single contest at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
