CLEVELAND, Ohio - Following a season in which the Vikings set records for wins (nine), home wins (seven) and goals scored (24), two members of the Cleveland State women's soccer team have earned all-state recognition by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association.

Junior midfielder Natalie Daniels and senior goalkeeper Kelly Zinkiewich were both named second team All-Ohio.

"It's another well-deserved honor for a job well done," head coach Derrek Falor said. "It means Natalie and Kelly were on top of their game compared to our rival schools in the state."

Daniels had one of the best individual seasons of any player in program history in 2010, setting school records for goals in a season (nine) and total points (22). She also became the school's career leader in goals scored (16), assists (13) and points (45). Daniels scored a goal in eight games last season and added an assist in three others.

Zinkiewich also had a career season, setting single season records for shutouts (seven), goals against average (1.16) and save percentage (.807) en route to being named the Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year. She also became the CSU career leader in saves (386), shutouts (15), GAA (1.95) and minutes played (6,221). Zinkiewich ranks fourth in league history in both saves and minutes played.

Both Daniels and Zinkiewich were selected to the All-Horizon League first team, becoming the first players in the seven-year history of the program to make the first team.

The Vikings finished 2010 with a 9-8-2 record, the first winning season ever by the women's soccer team.
