CLEVELAND, Ohio - Playing its second exhibition match in three days, Cleveland State played to a 1-1 draw with Oakland on Thursday afternoon at Krenzler Field.

The Vikings jumped on the board first just seven minutes into the match when junior Frederike Dubeau headed home a corner kick from Carla Ragone.

It stayed that way until the 38th minute when Oakland's Marlen Knoph scored on a rebound after CSU goalkeeper Sarah Wood made a save on the initial shot.

Oakland held an 8-3 advantage in shots and a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks for the afternoon.

Wood made three saves in the first half for the Vikings, while Becca Coleman made two in the second half. Payj O'Shea had one save for the Grizzlies.

The Vikings will conclude their three-match exhibition season when CSU hosts Buffalo at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Krenzler Field.
