Coach Falor's Comments: "In many ways, Mel is the heart and soul of our team, both on and off the field. She always plays at the top speed and never gives up. As a forward, she is great at providing defensive pressure on the opponents and is willing to sacrifice her body in order to win a ball. Her speed should allow her to make effective penetrating runs and be a nice target for our playmakers during transition."
2004: Provided solid minutes off the bench at midfield, seeing playing time in all but one match...started games against IUPUI (9/12), IPFW (9/24), Valaparaiso (9/26) and Detroit (10/8) and did not not play against Youngstown State (10/17)...recorded two shots during the year, one shot each in back-to-back games against UW-Green Bay (10/29) and Loyola (10/31)...earned first letter.
2003 at CSU: Joined the team as a walkon during the school year and took part in training sessions.
