At CSU: Joined the team as a walkon during the 2003-04 school year and took part in training sessions.
At Slippery Rock: Two-year member of the soccer team, lettering as a freshman in 2000. . . sidelined late in her freshman campaign with a torn ACL in her right knee, requiring surgery. . . redshirted during the 2001 season.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Cleveland Heights High, playing for coach Andy Trujillo. . . started all four years on defense, helping team to three league soccer titles. . . lettered twice as the goalie on the school's lacrosse team.
Personal: Born April 5, 1982 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. . . daughter of George and Peggy Burke. . . has one brother and two sisters. . . was an honor roll student during her final two years of high school and has been on the Dean's List in her first three semesters at CSU. . . special education major with an emphasis on moderate/intensive intervention.
