CLEVELAND, Ohio – On a rainy Thursday evening in Cleveland, the Green and White (3-7-3, 0-3-3) and Youngstown State (6-5-2, 2-3-1) fought to a scoreless draw. The tie was the second straight for the Vikings and the first shutout of the year.

The best scoring chance came in the 80th minute, as Kathryn Ramicone's shot to the far post was cleared off the line by a Penguin defender after the goalkeeper was caught out of position.

Ramicone led the game with six shots including two on frame, while Brooke Opferman had five shots with one on target.

Liv Fain notched her first shutout of the year and third of her career after making four saves.

Cleveland State now has three points on the year and heads to Northern Kentucky on Sunday, Oct. 5 for a 1 p.m. contest.
