CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's soccer team receieved the United Soccer Coaches (formerly the NSCAA) Team Academic Award as announced by the organization on Thursday.

It marks the eighth straight year and the ninth time in program history that the Vikings have earned the award.

A total of 828 collegiate teams (288 men, 540 women) earned the Team Academic Award. College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point of average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster.
