MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Cleveland State women's soccer team picked up their first point in the Horizon League ledger, playing to a 1-1 draw at Milwaukee on Saturday evening at Engelmann Field.

It was CSU's third overtime match in as many league contests this year and the fourth overtime match in the last five games for the Vikings.

CSU moved to 5-6-2 overall and 0-2-1 in league play, while the Panthers are now 5-7-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the Horizon League.

Tonight marked the first result for the Vikings against Milwaukee in 15 all-time meetings.

The Vikings took a 1-0 lead at the 25:11 mark when Amanda Sivic netted her team-leading fifth goal of the season off a free kick. Vickie Havas took the free kick from just outside the top of the box and after the ball bounced around in front of the goal, Sivic was able to get her head on the ball and trickle it into the back of the net.

It was CSU's 21st goal of the season, just five shy of tying the school record for goals in a season (25) set in 2011.

Milwaukee responded to knot the contest just three minutes into the second half on Kelly Lewers' sixth goal of the year. She one-touched a long through ball from Maria Stephans.

Sarah Wood finished with four saves, while CSU's backline of Kelcey Fischer, Marissa Sarsfield, Sabrina Abram and Erin O'Toole each played all 110 minutes.

Chloe Fadenholz and Elise Sailors were also on the field for the entire match for CSU.

The Panthers outshot CSU, 17-7, and took eight corner kicks to five for the Vikings.

The Vikings are back in action on Wednesday night when CSU hosts Wright State at 7:00 p.m. at Krenzler Field.
