FREE KICKS:
    •    Cleveland State returns to action with two matches this week, beginning with a 7:00 p.m. match against Youngstown State on Wednesday (Oct. 16) at Krenzler Field.
    •    The Vikings then travel to Green Bay on Saturday (Oct. 19) for a 1:00 p.m. EST match.
    •    The Vikings are 7-6-1 overall and 1-2 in the Horizon League after a 2-0 setback to Milwaukee on Saturday in their lone match of the week.
    •    Youngstown State is 3-9-1 overall and 1-2 in league play, while Green Bay is 4-5-4 overall and 1-2 in the Horizon League.
    •    CSU leads the all-time series with YSU, 6-3, and trails the all-time series with Green Bay, 6-3. Last year, the Vikings lost at Youngstown State, but were later awarded a forfeit win. CSU defeated Green Bay, 1-0, in double overtime last season.
    •    The Vikings are one of four teams in the league standing with three points, joined by YSU, Detroit and Green Bay. Milwaukee leads the ledger with nine points, while Wright State is second with seven points. Oakland has six points and Valparaiso has four.
    •    The top six teams in the final regular season standings advance to the league championship.
    
HOME SWEET HOME:
    •    CSU's 2-0 loss to Milwaukee on Saturday marked the Vikings first home defeat in eight matches this season.
    •    The Vikings are 6-1-1 at home this season with the six wins at Krenzler Field the second most in a season in program history.
    •    The 2010 squad went 7-2-2 at home.

SCORING GOALS:
    •    The Vikings have scored 21 goals through 14 matches this year.
    •    It is the third most goals in a season in program history, topped only by the 25 goals scored in 2011 and the 23 tallies in 2010.

SHUTOUT CITY:
    •    The Vikings have posted four shutouts this season, including back-to-back shutouts of UMass Lowell (Sept. 13) and Robert Morris (Sept. 15).
    •    The four shutouts are the third most in a season in CSU history. The 2010 squad posted seven shutouts, while the 2011 team had five clean sheets.

SUPER SOPH:
    •    Vickie Havas, a member of the Horizon League All-Newcomer team last year, is having another strong season.
    •    Havas is third in the league in goals (7) and points (17). She is tied for sixth with three assists.
    •    She is tied for third in CSU history in goals (12) and points (32) and is tied for fourth in assists (8).

WOOD RACKING UP THE SAVES:
    •    Sarah Wood leads the league and is ranked sixth in the nation with 92 saves. She is 39th in the nation with a .836 save percentage.
    •    Her 92 saves are tied for the fourth most in a season in CSU history.
    •    Wood has three matches of double-digit saves this year, with a career-high 12 at Miami (Fla.) on Sept. 13 and 11 vs. Canisius (Aug. 25) and Ohio (Sept. 20).
    •    Wood's 157 career saves are the fourth most in CSU history.

LOOKING AHEAD:
    •    CSU is back in action on Saturday (Oct. 19) when the Vikings head to Green Bay for a 1:00 pm EST contest.
