Cleveland State Women's Soccer 10-Year Anniversary Team

The Cleveland State women's soccer team is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a program in 2013. Over the last 10 years, many players have helped build the program from the ground up. Throughout the month of September, CSU will celebrate 11 of the top players who have been part of the program. The players will be announced in alphabetical order beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and continue on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the month.

Jennifer Wieand was arguabley the top striker to wear a Cleveland State uniform. Wieand was with the program for five years - missing the 2006 season after injuring her knee.

Wieand concluded her career with 12 goals, 10 assists and 34 points. She still ranks second in career assists and points in CSU history and third in career goals.

Wieand had a strong sophomore campaign in 2007, earning first team All-Ohio and second team All-Horizon League honors after setting then CSU single season records for points (19), goals (8) and shots (63), while finishing second on the team in assists (3).

Her four assists as a senior in 2008 are the sixth most in a season in program history.

Wieand is one of just three players in school history to record two multiple goal scoring games.
