CLEVELAND, Ohio - Annie Teicher, a four-year varsity letterwinner at Reitz Memorial High (Ind.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the program for the 2009-10 school year.
"We are excited to add a player of Annie's caliber to our program," head coach Steve Weir said. "She has had a lot of success in high school and I expect her to have an immediate impact on our program. She has a very smooth swing and a good work ethic that will fit in well with our program."
Teicher, a lefty who earned league Player of the Year honors in 2007, earned first team all-city and all-conference accolades in each of her final two seasons, earning medalist honors six times as a senior. A team captain as a senior, Teicher carded a tournament record and girls high school course record 71 at the conference championship as a senior.
Playing for coach Jenny Effinger, Teicher helped lead Memorial to four conference, sectional and regional championships, as well as three city titles. The team finished as the city runner-up in 2008.
Teicher also won two Indiana Mountain Dew Tour Events on the Evansville Junior Golf Tour.
