COLUMBUS, Ohio - Freshman Micaela Cronin carded a final round 80, her lowest round of the fall season, as the Cleveland State women's golf team concluded the fall campaign with the final round of the MAC Preview on Tuesday at the par-72, 6,173-yard Longaberger G.C.

The Vikings shot a final round 351 and finished 10th in the 10 team field with a 36-hole total of 701 (350-351).

"Today was a tough day with some difficult conditions on one of the toughest courses that we will play all season," head coach Steve Weir said. "Over the last two weeks, we played in two tournaments with deep and talented fields and that is only going to help us as we begin to prepare for the spring season in a few weeks.

"Overall, I am happy with where we are at as a team. We have such a young squad and they continue to gain valuable experience with every round they play. I think they have really grown up from the first tournament and if we can continue to improve on some things and limit our mental mistakes, we could accomplish some very special things down the road."

Cronin, who knocked 10 shots off her first round 90, wound up tied for 38th with a two-round total of 170 (90-80). Freshman Madeline Kaminski tied for 49th at 177 (86-91).
