CHESTERLAND, Ohio - Cleveland State carded a two-round total 0f 722 to finish fifth at its Women's Invitational, held on Monday and Tuesday at Fowlers Mill GC. Oakland ran away with the team title with a 644, defeating it closest challenger by 21 shots. Freshman Trish Randall paced the Vikings with a 175 to finish in a tie for 13th.

Butler finished at 665, just a shot a head of Youngstown State for second place.

OU's Patricia Ellsworth finished birdie-birdie to claim medalist honors at 154. YSU's Gina Abruzzino was just a shot behind after holding the first round lead.

Junior Kristen Obush finished 18th at 176, while freshman Amanda Glatfelter tied for 21st at 178.

Cleveland State is off for two weeks before competing in the Precept Women's Intercollegiate in Clarksville, Tenn. on Oct. 25-26.
