AKRON, Ohio - Cleveland State shot rounds of 335 and 337 and is in 12th place after the first two rounds of the 3rd Annual Zippy Invitational on Monday at the par-72, 6,025-yard Rosemont C.C.

"We didn't get anything going today," assistant coach Nathan Miklos said. "We definitely have some things that we have to continue to work on. Hopefully we will be able to go out tomorrow, just relax and post a good number to build upon."

Sophomore Ariel Sparrow played well all day, carding rounds of 77-78 (155) and is in seventh place in the individual standings. She is six shots off the lead.

The final round of the event will begin with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday morning.
