REDFORD, Mich. - Cleveland State carded a 340 and stands in fifth place after the opening day at the Titan Invitational. Detroit is hosting the seven-team field at the par 72, 5,995 yard Western Golf & Country Club.

Oakland holds the 18-hole lead at 322, five strokes better than the Titans. Loyola is in third place at 330.

Oakland's Christiana Cibrario and Detroit's Rachel McHenry are tied for the individual lead after both posted a 78, while the Golden Grizzlies' Austin McDermaid is in third place at 79. Sophomore Mallory Wyderka placed the Cleveland State effort with an 84, while junior Amanda Glatfelter was a shot back.

The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday.
