Women's Golf Earns Sixth-Place Finish At Golden Grizzly Invitational

ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Cleveland State women's golf team finished sixth at the Golden Grizzly Invitational, shooting a 726 (364-362) at the Katke-Cousins Golf Club in Rochester, Mich. Host Oakland fired a two-round total of 655 (330-325) to run away with the team title by 22 strokes over Dayton and Western Ontario.

Sophomore Kristen Obush (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) paced the Vikings with a 169 (82-87) to finish in a four-way tie for 10th. Oakland's Mara Mazzoni shot a 161 to edge out teammate Stacey Goins by a single shot.

The Vikings are off for nearly a month before closing out their fall schedule Nov. 2-4 at the Flagler College Invitational in St. Augustine, Fla.
