INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State shot an opening round 332 and is tied for 12th place out of 14 teams at the Butler Fall Invitational on Monday at the par 72, 6,303 yard Eagle Creek G.C.

"We didn't really get anything going today," assistant coach Nate Miklos said. "We had a couple bad stretches and didn't play our best so we had to grind it out. We have a long way to go this year, but our youngsters are getting some good experience this fall."

Sophomores Ariel Sparrow and Lisa Barber both fired 81's and are tied for 38th place, while Madeline Kaminski is tied for 52nd after an 83.

The final round will be played on Tuesday morning.
