Vikings Finish Seventh At Butler Fall Invitational

CARMEL, Ind. - Cleveland State finished seventh at the Butler Fall Invitational with a 54-hole score of 1,016. Western Kentucky carded a 946 to defeat the host Bulldogs by four strokes. The tournament was held on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 25-26) at the 5,990 yard, par 72 Plum Creek GC.

WKU's Megan Pendergraff claimed medalist honors at plus 10 (226) thanks to a closing round of 73. Butler's Lauren Showers was in second at 232, while Detroit's Rachel McHenry was third at 233.

Sophomore Ashley Davidson and freshman Katie Broere paced the Vikings with matching 251s, while junior Amanda Glatfelter turned in a 256.

The Vikings are in action again on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 when they travel to Lewisburg, Pa. for the Bucknell Lady Bison Fall Classic.
