INDIANAPOLIS - The Cleveland State women's golf team stands 10th after shooting a 357 on Monday at the first day of the Butler Fall Invitational. Teams were supposed to play 36 holes at the par 72 Eagle Creek Golf Club in Indianapolis, but rain delayed the start and forced the tournament to be shortened from 54 to 36 holes.
Sophomore Kristen Obush (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) fired an 82 to lead the Vikings. She currently stands four shots out of the lead that is shared by three different players.
Bowling Green holds the team lead with a first round score of 323.
The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday.
