CARMEL, Ind. - Playing in her final Horizon League Championship, senior Kristen Obush moved into contention with a 76 on Monday afternoon, matching the low round of the day. Obush is six shots out of the lead heading into Tuesday's final round at the 5,990 yard, par 72 Plum Creek Golf Club.

Butler's Lauren Showers and Paige McCracken stand one-two in the individual race to lead the Bulldogs to a 19-shot advantage over Youngstown State (634-653). Showers is at 11-over par (155), while McCracken is just a shot back.

Youngstown State's Adrianna McCracken is in third place at 16-over par, a shot ahead of Obush and two other golfers tied for fourth.

Freshman Ashley Davidson closed with an 80 and is in a tie for 17th at 170 as the Vikings stand in fifth-place in the team race.

"We struggled in the morning, but Kristen and Ashley really turned things around in the afternoon," CSU head coach Tom Porten said. "It would be great to see Kristen put a low number on the board early on and see what happens."

Play concludes on Tuesday with the first tee time set for 8:20 a.m.
