SALEM, Ohio - Cleveland State junior Kristen Obush won her fourth career title in dramatic fashion, defeating Butler's Lynnsey Showers on the first playoff hole at the Youngstown State Invitational. After finishing 36 holes tied at 154, the two played the par 5 10th hole at Salem Hills Golf Club, with Obush carding an eagle to top Showers' birdie.

The duo edged out Youngstown State's Brittany Jones, who came in at 156 after leading the first round with a 78. Obush's 75 on Monday was bettered only by Showers' tournament-low round of 74.

Obush won the Butler Fall Invitational earlier this season and also claimed medalist honors in the Bucknell Lady Bison Classic and the Malone Fall Invitational as a freshman in 2002-03.

Trish Randall and Lexi Retzer both tied for 15th at 170.

Butler ran away with the team title, finishing at 639 to out-distance Youngstown State (659) by 20 strokes. The Vikings' put together a school record total of 324 on Monday to nearly overtake the Penguins for second place.

Done with the regular season, Cleveland State will next compete at the Horizon League Championship on May 2-3 at Royal American Golf Club in Galena, Ohio.
