Vikings In 10th After Round One at Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Cleveland State opened the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational with a 332 and is in 10th place out of 12 teams after Saturday's first round.

The 36 hole event is being played at the Stone Ridge Golf Club.

Junior Lisa Barber paced the Vikings with a first round 80, while freshman Colleen Miller, playing as an individual, matched Barber's round of 80.

The duo is tied for 16th place.

Ariel Sparrow is tied for 28th after an opening round 82, while Madeline Kaminski and Shelly Ford are tied for 45th at 85. Micaela Cronin is tied for 58th following an 87, while Steff Camarata, who is also playing as an individual, shot an 89 and it tied for 63rd.

CSU will enter the final round just two shots behind ninth place Niagara (330), three shots behind eighth place Dayton (329) and six shots behind seventh place Chicago State (326).

Oakland holds the lead after the first round at 310.

The final 18 holes of the event will be played on Sunday.
