FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Cleveland State shot a final round 360 and finished fourth of six teams at the IPFW Spring Invitational that concluded on Tuesday at the par-71, 6,042-yard Pine Valley C.C.

Sophomore Lisa Barber fired an 81 to finish in 10th place in the individual standings at 167 (86-81).

"Lisa played very well this weekend and had two solid ball striking rounds," head coach Steve Weir said. "It's nice to see her post two good rounds and hopefully she can continue that over the final weeks of the season."

CSU was forced to play with just four players today as Ariel Sparrow did not compete.

"It's always tough to play with just four players because you know that your score is going to count," Weir said. "You don't have that safety net of that fifth player, but I thought our four who played today hung in there and battled all day."

Freshman Madeline Kaminski shot a final round 89 and wound up tied for 20th place at 179 (90-89).

In addition, freshman Shelly Ford finished 18th overall with rounds of 89-88 (177) playing as an individual.

The Vikings will play their final regular season tournament when CSU competes at the Bowling Green Invitational from April 16-17.
