ROCK HILL, S.C. - Cleveland State shot a second round 359 on Saturday at the Winthrop Invitational. The 54-hole event is being contested at the Rock Hill C.C.

"We didn't have a very good performance today," assistant coach Nathan Miklos said. "The greens are really sloped here and were extremely fast today. We gave away way to many shots around the green and are just struggling to find our rhythm early in the spring."

Junior Katie Broere had a solid round for the Vikings, following yesterday's opening round 84 with an 80 today. Her two-round total stands at 164.

"Katie played really well today and had a nice round," Miklos said.

The Vikings will conclude the tournament with the final 18 holes on Sunday, March 22.
