Jacksonville, Fla. - The Cleveland State women's golf team earned a 11th-place finish at the North/South Collegiate held on March 8-9 at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club in Jacksonville, Fla. Jacksonville University won the team competition with a two-round total of 629.

Playing in their first event of the spring, the Vikings got off to a rough start, shooting a 393 the first day, before shaving 38 shots off their total in the final round to finish with a 748.

Sophomore Kristen Obush (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) led the Vikings with an 87-81--168 to finish in a tie for 21st. Bethune-Cookman's Maria Dunn claimed medalist honors with a 76-75--151.

Cleveland State is in action again on March 22-23 when the Vikings travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C. for the Butler Spring Invitational.
