Cleveland State Women’s Golf Ninth at IUPUI Jaguar Invitational

Indianapolis, IN-The Cleveland State women's golf team closed the IUPUI Jaguar Invitational by moving up one spot in the team standings for a ninth-place finish at 59-over par. The Vkings posted a 31-over par 319 in the second round. 

Mandie Ruminski was the low individual finisher for the Vikings as she closed with a 5-over 77 to finish at 10-over for the tournament in a tie for 17th. Ruminski posted a 1-under 35 on the back nine for a strong finish in her first tournament back in the lineup after missing the previous three tournaments. 

Kaitlin Kormuth closed with a 7-over 79 to finish in a tie for 26th. Kormuth finished at 12-over par for the 36-hole event.

Brynna Mardis carded an 87 in the final round to finish tied for 51st at 19-over par. Lola Barnett finished at 24-over and Olivia Swain finished at 25-over for the tournament. Barnett finished tied for 66th and Swain closed in a tie for 68th. Swain finished with an 81 in the final round and Barnett posted an 82.

Abby Blackburn and Kaylin Kline, each playing as individuals, both shot 85 in the final round. Blackburn finished tied for 43rd at 17-over par and Kline finished tied for 64th at 23-over par.

This closes the 2023-24 regular season for the Vikings. Cleveland State will next travel to Florida for the Horizon League Championship tournament at Mission Inn Resort starting on Saturday.
