Cleveland State Women’s Golf Tees It Up at IUPUI Jaguar Invitational

Indianapolis, IN-The Cleveland State women's golf team is set for their final tune-up this weekend as the Vikings head to the IUPUI Jaguar Invitational. This is the final regular season event for Cleveland State before next week's Horizon League Championship tournament in Orlando, FL. 

Cleveland State is one of 11 teams in the field for the 36-hole event. The Vikings will compete alongside fellow Horizon League foes Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, Northern Kentucky and host IUPUI.

The event will be contested at Plum Creek Golf Club in Carmel, IN. The course will play to a par of 72 and measure 6,157 yards for the event. Sophomore Brynna Mardis is the defending champion of the event. Mardis finished last year's event at 4-over par and edged out three others in a four-way playoff which included teammate Sabrina Coffman. Mardis made birdie on the first playoff hole to secure her first collegiate victory. 

The first round begins at 8:30 a.m. with tee times off the first tee. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat throughout the tournament.
