Butler Sits Tied for Third in Opening Day of the Lady Jaguar Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - The Cleveland State women's golf team finished the first day of the Lady Jaguar Invitational in fourth place, shooting 30 over par (318).

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We didn't have our best stuff today. We had a few nice rounds going with about seven holes to go, but couldn't get them to the house. It's a great learning experience for our team, though. Maddie Butler did a great job leading us and is in contention to be the invitational's top finisher. We'll look to regroup and move up the board in the final round." - Head Coach Taylor Riggs

DAY ONE
The Green and White have a commanding 15-stroke lead over Northern Kentucky, while only trailing Purdue Fort Wayne by three strokes.
