Neumeister Named to Horizon League All-Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS – Cleveland State junior Kaylee Neumeister (Cortland, Ohio/Lakeview) has been named to the 2019 Horizon League Women's Golf All-Academic Team as selected by the league's faculty athletic representatives.

Neumeister earned the honor for the first time in his Cleveland State career.

The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for all-academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale) and have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester hour or 36 quarter hour credits.

Neumeister currently has a 3.51 grade point average in chemical engineering and has been named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll three times.

Neumeister, who is a two-time All-Horizon League selection, was second on the team this season with a 77.3 scoring average. She was named the Horizon League Player of the Week on April 17 after earning medalist honors at the Youngstown State Spring Invitational.
