HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Cleveland State women's golf team shot a final round 326 and finished in fourth place at the 2016 Horizon League Championship that concluded on Sunday at the par-72, 6,026-yard Mission Inn Resort.
Senior Allyson Hackman capped her brilliant career by placing third overall with a 54 hole total of 232. She carded a 77 today after rounds of 77 and 78. It marked Hackman's highest ever finish at the League championship and also the fourth straight year she earned a spot on the all-tournament team. She becomes the first player in program history to be named to the all-tournament team in all four years.
Hackman finishes her career with a 78.9 scoring average, tops in program history.
Freshman Rayna Oosterhuis capped the tournament with an 82 today and finished in ninth place overall at 238 (81-75-82). Madison Lomas tied for 19th place overall at 247 (80-85-82), while Sophie Kelner shot 85-83-85 and tied for 28th place at 253.
Emily Turski placed 35th overall at 258 (87-83-88).
