Vikings in Fourth Place After Two Rounds at League Championship

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Cleveland State shot a second round 319, four shots better than yesterday's first round, and is in fourth place after two rounds of the Horizon League Championship.

The tournament is being played at the par-72, 6,026-yard Mission Inn Resort.

Rayna Oosterhuis shot a 75 today, the second lowest round of the day and is tied for seventh place overall. She made three birdies and an eagle today. After yesterday's round of 81, Oosterhuis is tied for seventh place overall at 156.

Allyson Hackman is tied for fifth place overall following yesterday's first round 77 with a 78 today for a 36-hole total of 155.

Madison Lomas is tied for 21st place at 165 (80-85), while Sophie Kelner is tied for 27th place at 168 (85-83) and Emily Turski is in 33rd place (87-83-170).

Oakland leads the tournament after two rounds with a 622 total, five shots ahead of Northern Kentucky. Youngstown State is in third place at 641 and is followed by CSU (642), UIC (653), Valparaiso and Detroit (657) and Green Bay (671).

The final round of the League championship will be played on Sunday with the first tee time at 7:30 am. The Vikings will be in the second group with UIC and Valparaiso.
