Women's Golf Plays Final Regular Season Event in Bowling Green

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's golf team heads to Northwest Ohio this weekend to play in the 2016 Dolores Black Falcon Invitational, hosted by Bowling Green.

The tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 9-10th at the par-72, 5,960-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.

CSU will be joined in the field by host Bowling Green, who will have two teams, Ashland, Boston University, Central Michigan, Dartmouth College, Detroit, Eastern Michigan, Ferris State, Findlay, Illinois-Chicago, Northern Kentucky, Niagara, Ohio, and Youngstown State.

Teams will tee off for the first 18-holes on Saturday at 10:00 am, where they will split tees at No. 1 and No. 10. The final round of 18-holes is scheduled to start on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. of the first and 10th tees.

The Vikings were last in action on April 1-2 at the EKU Colonel Classic. CSU finished on the first day with carding rounds of 315 and 318 and were in eighth place going into the second day where they concluded with carding a 346.

Sophie Kelner was CSU's top finisher, tying for 32nd place with rounds of 77-80-83 (240), while Rayna Oosterhuis tied for 40th place at 243 (70-80-84).

Allyson Hackman is leading the team with an average of 78.9, followed by Oosterhuis with 79.4 and Kelner with 81.0.

This will be the final event of the regular season for CSU with the Vikings returning to action at the Horizon League Championship from April 22-24 in Florida.
