Vikings Open Play at EKU Colonel Classic With First Two Rounds

RICHMOND, Ky. - Cleveland State opened play at the EKU Colonel Classic on Friday, carding rounds 315 and 318 and is in eighth place.

Allyson Hackman and Sophie Kelner are both tied for 22nd place. Hackman opened with an 80 and shot a 77 in the afternoon, while Kelner shot 77 in the morning and an 80 in round two.

Rayna Oosterhuis is tied for 32nd place at 159 (79-80), while Emily Turski is tied for 47th after rounds of 82-81 (163). Madison Lomas opened with a 79 and is tied for 57th place at 166 (79-87).

Eastern Kentucky leads the 11 team field at 611, while Ball State, Ohio and Tennessee Tech are tied for second at 617. IUPUI is in fifth at 618 and is followed by Bowling Green (619), Austin Peay (626), Cleveland State (633), Belmont (638), Northern Kentucky (644) and Dayton (650).

The final round of the event will be played on Saturday morning.
