CLEVELAND, Ohio - Kaylee Neumeister, who led Lakeview HS to a state title this year, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Cleveland State University.
Neumeister will join the program in the fall of 2016 and have four years of eligibility.
A four-time first team All-Northeast Ohio selection, Neumeister was the conference tournament medalist as a sophomore and junior and was the conference Player of the Year as a sophomore. She was the No. 1 player all four year, leading the team to a seventh place finish in the state her sophomore year, a runner-up finish at the state tournament as a junior and the state title her senior year.
At this year's state tournament, Neumeister shot 75-78 (153) and finished as the individual runner-up, earning first team all-state honors. She also finished as the runner-up at the district tournament.
That came on the heels of Neumeister finishing ninth in the state tournament as a junior with rounds of 79-77 (156) and earning second team all-state accolades.
She finished 11th at the state tournament as a sophomore.
Neumeister lowered her scoring average all four year, culminating with a 37.8 scoring average this year.
A member of the National Honor Society and a three-year Academic letterwinner, Neumeister plans to major in chemical engineering at CSU.
