Vikings Place Sixth at Dayton Flyer Invitational to Conclude Fall Season

KETTERING, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's golf team concluded the fall season by shooting a 318 at the final round of the Dayton Flyer Invitational on Tuesday morning.

The event was played at the par-70, 5,869-yard NCR North Course.

CSU finished with a 638 total to finish behind Indianapolis and Grand Valley State which both shot 610. Oakland finished third at 620 and was followed by Findlay (624) and IUPUI (632) to round out the top-five.

Sophie Kelner shot CSU's low round of the tournament, carding a 73 today that included an even-par 35 on the front nine. Kelner wound up tying for 12th place with a 36-hole total of 156 (83-73).

Allyson Hackman led the Vikings, tying for fifth place overall. She followed yesterday's first round 76 with a 74 today, finishing with a 36-hole total of 150.

The Vikings played with just four players today as Madison Lomas shot an 83 and Haley Newman carded an 88.

The Dayton Flyer Invitational concludes the fall season for the Vikings.
