Women's Golf in Sixth Place After Opening Round of Dayton Flyer Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's golf team shot a first round 320 and is in sixth place out of 15 teams at the Dayton Flyer Invitational that started on Monday at the par-70, 5,869-yard NCR North Course.

Allyson Hackman is in eighth place overall after a first round 76 that included a two-under-par 33 on the front nine with three birdies.

Rayna Oosterhuis shot a 79 and is tied for 14th place, while Haley Newman carded a first round 82 and is tied for 35th place.

Grand Valley State leads the field at 304, while Indianapolis (311), Findlay (312), Oakland (316), IUPUI (318), Cleveland State (320), Dayton (321), Northern Kentucky (322), Central Michigan (330) and Evansville (332) round out the top-10.

The final round of the event will take place on Tuesday morning.
