Miller Earns Rotary Award of Excellence

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State senior women's golfer Colleen Miller (Erie, Pa.) recently earned the Award for Excellence in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the 47th Annual Rotary Awards for Cleveland State University Business Students.

Miller, who carries a 3.9 grade point average, received the award during a luncheon at Windows on the River in April. She will graduate this weekend.

In her four years on the CSU women's golf team, Miller posted an 84.4 scoring average, playing in 81 career rounds.

This season, she had an 83.9 scoring average, third lowest on the team, and helped the Vikings to a third place finish at the league championship. She tied for 19th place overall at the league tournament.

Miller started the 2014-15 season off with a runner-up finish at the Youngstown State Invitational, carding a 36 hole total of 149, including a career-low round of 72 in round two. It was tied for the lowest individual round in school history before it was broken later in the year.
