CSU Places Fifth at Butler Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State shot a final round 317 and finished fifth of nine teams at the Butler Invitational that concluded on Tuesday at the par-70, 6,016-yard Highland Golf & CC.

Both Allyson Hackman and Sophie Kelner paced the Vikings with top-10 finishes.

Hackman carded a final round 73 today to finish in a tie for fifth place with a 36 hole total of 148 (75-73). Kelner was one shot behind Hackman with a 149 total. Kelner, who became the first player in school history to break 70 in Monday's first round with a 68, shot an 81 today.

Hannah Bennie tied for 23rd place at 160 with back-to-back rounds of 80.

CSU concludes the fall season when the Vikings compete at the Toledo Rocket Classic on Oct. 13-14.
