INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Behind a school-record round of 68 from freshman Sophie Kelner, the Cleveland State women's golf team is tied for third after the first round of the Butler Invitational that was played on Monday at the par-70, 6,016-yard Highland Golf & CC.

As a team, the Vikings shot a first round 306 and are tied with Western Kentucky for third place, three shots behind second place Youngstown State. Butler is in the lead at 293.

Allyson Hackman shot a 75 and is in the top-10, tied for eighth place, while Hannah Bennie carded an 80 and is tied for 24th place overall.
