HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Cleveland State women's golf team shot a final round 317 and finished in fifth place at the Horizon League Championship that concluded on Sunday at the par-73, 5,817-yard Mission Inn Resort Las Colinas Course.

Detroit won the title with a 54 hole total of 943, seven shots ahead of runner-up Oakland (950). Youngstown State was third at 955, while Valparaiso was fourth (957) and was followed by CSU (960), UIC (985) and Green Bay (989).

The Vikings had two players finish in the top-10, including sophomore Allyson Hackman who tied for fourth place with a 54-hole total of 234 to earn a spot on the all-tournament team. Hackman, who was a first team all-league selection this year, shot three rounds of 78 at the tournament.

Senior Shelly Ford finished ninth overall with rounds of 76-80-81 (237), while junior Colleen Miller carded a 244 (81-82-81) for the tournament and tied for 17th place. Senior Micaela Cronin shot 89-80-77 (246) to tie for 20th place. Her 77 this afternoon was tied for the third lowest round of the day.

Senior Madeline Kaminski finished 30th overall at 91-81-83 (255).
