CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State senior Shelly Ford (Jefferson, Ohio) has been named the Horizon League Women's Co-Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Ford helped the Vikings to a runner-up finish at the Butler Spring Invitational on Monday, carding a 74 to share first place in the event that was shortened to 18 holes due to snowy conditions on Tuesday.

Ford's 74 was tied for the third lowest round in school history and she became just the third player in program history to finish first in an event, joining Kristin Obush (4 wins) and Ariel Sparrow (1 win).

The Vikings return to action on April 4-5 when CSU competes at the Colonel Classic in Richmond, Ky.
