CLEVELAND, Ohio - Hannah Bennie has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Cleveland State women's golf program, beginning with the 2014-15 season.
Bennie, a native of West Chester, Ohio, earned three letters at Mason H.S. and led her squad to a fifth place finish at the state tournament in 2012 and 2013. In addition, she was part of league, sectional and district championship teams as a junior and senior.
Bennie was a first team all-league and third team all-district selection as a senior after posting a 79.4 scoring average.
As a sophomore, Bennie helped the team to a runner-up finish in the league, a third place showing at sectionals and a fourth place finish at the district tournament.
She is a member of the National Honor Society.
The CSU women's golf team will open the spring season at the MAC Match Play in Sarasota, Fla., on Feb. 3-4.
