Mary Rose Metter Signs With Women's Golf

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Mary Rose Metter, a Dayton native who played high school golf at Archbishop Alter, has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Cleveland State women's golf program, beginning with the 2013-14 academic year.

Metter helped lead her high school squad to four straight appearances at the state tournament. They team finished fifth in 2009, eighth in 2010 and 2012 and 11th in 2011.

The medalist at the OHSAA sectionals in 2011 and 2012, Metter was a first team all-league pick as a junior and senior. She was also the league Player of the Year as a senior. She was also the league's Athlete of the Year in 2011, earning medalist honors at the district championship..
